Though my roots trace back to the misty shores of Southeast Alaska, my photographic journey began in San Francisco, where I discovered my passion for capturing the diverse landscapes of California. From coastal fog to mountain peaks, I learned to tell stories through my lens while exploring the natural wonders of the Golden State.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, I now find inspiration in the remarkable landscapes of the Rocky Mountains while balancing a career in technology. My passion for photography has taken me from the rugged coastlines of Iceland to the remote peaks of Patagonia, where I both create images and lead workshops for fellow photographers. When not exploring distant landscapes, I draw inspiration from the dramatic alpine scenery of my current Colorado home, while carrying forward the techniques I developed during my formative years capturing the iconic vistas of the San Francisco Bay Area.
